As an alumni organization, we are always striving to make an impact.  With your help, we can achieve the following budget and establish ourselves as an organization that is dedicated to helping our members, those in need, and the community at large.  We are asking $100 minimum but please contribute what you can so we can accomplish our 2023 initiatives.

2023 Initiatives

TWAA Fall Tailgates

  • Football tailgates are a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends and support our alma mater

  • These funds will help pay for the location, food, technology, and other amenities during the tailgate season

  • This season we will be using The Tailgate Guys for the setup

  • Estimated expense: $7,500 (We need corporate sponsorships to cover the cost of Tailgate)

Texas Wranglers Scholarship Funds

  • We currently manage two scholarship funds, one available for all UT students and one available specifically to active Texas Wranglers

  • The Fallen Wrangler Memorial Scholarship (Wrangler only) was established in 1997 for exemplary Wranglers in financial need

  • The Texas Wranglers Scholarship (general students) was established in 1988 and applicants are evaluated on numerous criteria including community service, academic achievement, and financial need.

  • Estimated expense: $2,000

Active Wranglers Community Projects

  • To provide financial support to the Active Wranglers community service projects

  • Previous unfunded projects include registering and coaching an underprivileged baseball team and the construction of a community playground

  • Estimated expense: $1,000

Graduating Seniors Dinner

  • To provide free admittance for all graduating seniors to attend the annual TWAA Spring Reunion marquee event and help integrate them into the TWAA

  • Estimated expense: $1,000

General Operating Expenses/Chapter Events

  • Annual fixed expenses including technology services, bank and legal fees, basic Chapter and Reunion support, etc.

  • Any extraneous and unexpected payments will be subject to board approval

  • Estimated expense: $2,500
